This is an adhesively bonded dome that forms a complete cavity, inside which a laser is placed to scan along the inner wall. This requires extremely high demands on the flatness of the bonded areas. Bena Optics has perfectly addressed this challenge with their expert craftsmanship.
.Uniform thickness across the entire surface, with the radius of curvature errors for both the convex and concave surfaces controlled within ±2 micrometers.
.The thickness tolerance between the two domes is maintained within ±2 micrometers to ensure flatness after bonding.
.The bonded area must be free of edge chipping and achieve a seamless adhesion.
.Dual-sided AR (anti-reflective) coating is applied to enhance light transmission.
